App will not syncKeep working locally, then reconnect to the internet and reopen BenchMetric. Game entry is designed to remain useful even when cloud sync is unavailable.
Wrong stat or playerUse the game event history to undo or correct the recorded event. BenchMetric is designed around an editable event history rather than permanently locked totals.
Missing season statsSome statistics may only use games where that category was actually tracked. BenchMetric does not intentionally treat untracked categories as zero.
Sign-in problemConfirm you have internet access and try again. If Apple or Google sign-in continues to fail, contact support with the exact error message.
Player on JV and VarsityThe same athlete can be assigned to multiple roster contexts. Edit the player and update their roster assignments.
Delete your accountBenchMetric includes an in-app account deletion option under Account settings. If you cannot access your account, contact support for assistance.
Game-Day Tips
- Choose the capture depth that matches your workload: Scorebook, Scorebook + Shooting, or Full Stats.
- Use Scorebook when official book responsibilities are the priority.
- Use Scorebook + Shooting when you can reliably capture makes and misses but not every secondary statistic.
- Use Full Stats when you have enough attention or another statistician to collect deeper data.
- Review and reconcile the game before locking it.
